Who would have even thought that signing up for a dating auction
would lead me to walk down the aisle ...? In case you don't know our
story, I'll tell you.
It was the year 118 and my life was
somewhat romantically stagnant. Nothing happened in my life and that
bored me to death, so I got down to work, although not immediately. A
couple of days later I found a message from the Mayor of Melbourne
inviting the community to join a dating auction ... dating auction?
Well, why not? I entered my name, read a bit of other people who had
signed up, and forgot about it for a while, until I got a message.
"Hello Gudrun!
I just realized that the Date Auction thing is over and that obviously we are a match."
Obviously we are a match.
Think about that phrase! That's where it all started. The first time we
met was in Glasgow, he was in town to play one of his football season
games, and I had my annual concert. We agreed that our date in Melbourne
would be at the end of the year since my tour did not give us many more
options. During the year we began to go out to dinner, and in the
meantime we chose what kind of date we would have, since the auction
activity proposed 3 possible choices. We picked an elegant dinner in
the city prison, inside a fully equipped cell like a 5 star suite of the
finest hotel. It was the best date I had in my life, so far! In a few
hours I have another date, with the same handsome man with whom I spent
that night in prison, two years ago, in the same city but this time
we'll meet at the temple, surrounded by friends and family to celebrate
our love once again.
This is my stunning look on our big day!
